Can anyone become a member of Broken Bottle RX?

No. Only Pharmacy Owners, independent pharmacists and/or a designated authorized pharmacy staff member will be allowed authorized membership.

Why do I have to agree to certain pricing points?

Broken Bottle RX does require that all products listed must have the selling price dropped to 30% off, 45 days prior to expiration date and 40% off, 30 days prior to expiration date to maintain the market as a viable solution for all parties.

As pharmacists ourselves, we understand the need to move nearly expired products quickly and with the least amount of intrusive effort so our system helps you ensure that you move products more quickly by adjusting the price once the product has very few days left before expiration. This keeps your expired products moving and great deals to be had by other pharmacists at all times.

How do I report inappropriate behavior by another member?

Any and all inappropriate behavior conducted on Broken Bottle RX will be remedied immediately. Claims made by members will be investigated and reviewed on a case by case method. To preserve the integrity of the marketplace, any member found to conduct themselves in an unbecoming manner will be removed as a member from Broken Bottle RX immediately.

How do I complete the sale of my items?

Once a purchase or sale of any product has been made, either party should initiate contact to work out the final payment and logistics of the sale.

Once contact has been made and the seller has received all monies owed the item should be shipped to the buyer immediately to keep all relationships in good standing.

  • We recommend payment by credit card for speed purposes on the part of the buyer. Otherwise a cashier's check is suggested.
  • We recommend a tracking number to be provided by the seller upon shipment
  • We do not recommend shipments of any liquid or combustible products
  • Please take the outdoor temperature into account when shipping temperature sensitive items.
